G Loomis Muskie

For you Muskie hunters out there, the G Loomis Muskie series of rods are made for you. The G Loomis Muskie series offers a short jerkbait rod for heavy cover, a jerkbait rod for the wide open water and a longer rod for all those bucktails. The G Loomis Muskie series even includes a trolling rod for the bigger lakes and for serious plug pullers.

If you are out after the big muskie and require a top notch rod, the G Loomis Muskie rods are for you. These rods are very lightweight and have plenty of backbone from the butt section up to the upper one third of the blank. The tips are quick and responsive. The rods in this series are for using with up to 70 pound test line.

The Muskie series feature Fuji Hardloy aluminum oxide guides, Batson double black chrome tip tops that have flanged zirconium rings. The handles are comfortable and made with top grade cork and the five inch fore grips have been slimmed down. The rods look great too with the black satin finish and black wraps.

Most muskie rods are rather slow powered. The G Loomis muskie rods have fast tapers that give you outstanding casting accuracy and lure control. Every model is technique-oriented and designed for a very specific purpose.

The long seven foot models are ideal for bucktails and big spinnerbaits and crankbaits, while the 6.5 inch rods are what you want to use for stick baits.
