Penn Senator

Penn is one of the biggest and best names in fishing. The Penn Senator rods feature a tubular glass blank that is made with an integrated solid tip (IST) for extra durability and for a decrease in the weight of the rod. Solid glass blank rods are heavier than the tubular glass blanks that the Senators feature.

Other outstanding features of the Penn Senator rods are AFTCO roller stripping guides and tip tops with chrome stainless “In Between” guides so you line wear is minimal.

Every Senator rod has the Penn Slick Butt for increased durability and so that you can quickly remove the rod from a holder when a fish is diving deep.

Penn Senator rods also have machine reel seats that are able to stand up easily to the pressure that big fish can exert on the rod. The Senator rods have a great looking checkered butt wrap that give the overall looks a terrific finishing touch.

There are four Senator rods in the series, all are 6′ 6″ in length and they offer a line class of between 20 to 40 pounds up to a 60 to 80 pound line class.
