Sage Z-Axis

Sage went back to the drawing board to come up with the outstanding Z-Axis fast action fly rods. Sage improved their rod-building process to create a rod that is much lighter, stronger and much easier to cast, regardless of your skill level. The Sage Z-Axis rod gives you an incredible line feel, terrific response and second-to-none performance. Sage replaced the glass inner hoop fibers with graphite fibers to make a thinner and stronger walled blank.

The Sage Z-Axis rod is available in rods weights of 3 through 10 and lengths of between 7 feet six inches up to 10 feet for the single hand rods and 11 feet to 16 feet for the Spey rods. The reels seats are a nickel/silver with beautiful Rosewood inserts or anodized aluminum. These rods feature high grade cork handles with either a cigar grip, a small cigar grip or full wells. Each rod comes in its own aluminum tube with cloth socks to protect the rod when traveling.
