Shimano Trevala

The Shimano Trevala jigging rod is designed with a long butt section so that you can tuck it under your arm to create the correct fluid jigging motion necessary. The Trevala rods are very light and extremely strong and have a tremendous strength to weight ratio and it is very sensitive so you feel the fish bite.

Shimano uses the next generation of TC4 construction which uses a high carbon butt section that is fused with a TC4 tip section. This gives you outstanding pulling power with less weight and increased sensitivity.

The Shimano Trevala rods feature a Fuji palm style reel seat and a black diamond foregrip as well as a custom shaped reargrip.

The Trevala series stems from the very productive Japanese style of jigging. There are a total of 12 rods in his series which consists of eight one piece conventional rods with various line weights. There are four one piece spinning rods in the Trevala series.

When you fish with a Trevala rod you will notice a much faster recovery rate that will increase the jigging action. The palm support real seats provides you with a natural and comfortable angle that is very easy on the wrist when palming the reel or when battling a big fish.
