These outstanding fly rods feature high modulus SCIV graphite blanks that are made using IPC Advanced ReinForcing technology. Additional strength is added to the rod at the most critical points without adding any additional weight or increasing the diameter.

St. Croix has wrapped a thin layer of graphite fibers around the blank that makes it strong and resistant to crushing and big loads.

The St. Croix Legend Elite fly rods are strong and cast with unparalleled precision and smoothness. The IPC Tooling Technology is the first of its kind that creates tapers that are on a continuous curve from the tip of the rod to the butt, so all weak spots are eliminated. Most other high performing fly rods use compound tapers that employ a few measured transition points that become weak points which subject to breaking.

The Legend Ultra rods boast slim profile ferrules and the best cork handles. The reel seats are made with nickel and silver hardware and bird’s eye maple inserts or machine aluminum with fighting butts.

Each rod in this series comes with a polypropylene line for storage.
